Our knitted shade cloth blocks sun rays and regulates temperature using its high quality ventilated mesh fabric that is designed to turn your garden, patio, porch into a cooler place or help your pergola or greenhouse plants thrive in perfect health.

With a variety of colors, sizes and shade percentage you can choose the perfect shade solution for your specific needs. The percent of shade chosen will defines how much light gets blocked when using the tarp.

Knitted Shade Technology:

100% UV stabilized high density polyethylene, ventilated and water permeable
Open lock-stitched design to withstand wind and prevent heat buildup
Lightweight for easier carrying
Finished with four-ply reinforced binding & brass grommets every 2' (~0.5m) on all sides for easy installation on greenhouses and simple support structures
Highest resistance to fraying and longevity
Custom sized shade tarps may have a factory seam
$40 per unit minimum on any custom sized product
We hand cut and sew each item, please allow additional time to process custom orders

Excellent Product

I ordered a custom size, 70%, green. I was concerned that 70% would block too much sun, but for my needs, this is perfect! It arrived quickly and the quality is super.looks like it will hold up well in the greenhouse.

Q: Can this material be custom cut and put on a roller so it can be retractable? I am looking for something like this to cover our viewing deck by our riding arena to create shade over the viewing deck and part of the riding arena.

A: Yes, all of our knitted shade material works very well in a roll up system. Because the material is actually “lock stitched” together, it can be cut down to any size or shape without the worry of it fraying, running or falling apart. Having the edges “taped” with our black reinforced webbing material may cause the shade to not roll up tightly or evenly.

You can rest assured that this is the perfect material for what you are trying to accomplish.

A: I put mine on a roller in our greenhouse and it works fine. I would measure and add a couple of inches to the width to make sure it fills the entire width of your opening. On mine, the middle pulls inward a bit and leaves a gap on the sides but I am using mine on the slant of the roof, not straight up and down.

A: Hi, we only have square cut custom shades at the moment, however no problem cutting the knitted shades on your own, however you want.
