Best travel tips for UK and European beaches
Derrynane beach, County Kerry, Ireland
To view one of Ireland's most stunning view, one must visit the Atlantic Ocean's side in south-west Ireland. Despite the Irish weather, Derrynane beach can loosely pass as a tropical location, thanks to its blue shade of water and the rocky islets offshore. The background scenery is enhanced by the dramatic Ring of Kerry mountains, Scariff Island, and the Abbey Island ruins which you could calmly walk towards. The beach is not as developed for tourism, but you could enjoy some local beer at Keating's pub, or just hop to Caherdaniel which is nearby.
